Herbie Fully Loaded

Maggie Peyton is the new owner of Number 53--the free wheelin' Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own; she puts the car through its paces on the road to becoming a NASCAR competitor. As a third generation member of a NASCAR family, racing is in Maggie Peyton's blood, but she is forbidden from pursuing her dream by her overprotective father, Ray Peyton, Sr. When Ray Sr. offers Maggie a car as a college graduation present, he takes her to a junkyard to choose one from an assortment of very used cars. Maggie has her eye on an old Nissan, but a certain rusty, banged up '63 VW Bug seems to be clamoring for her attention. To her surprise, Maggie leaves the lot with Herbie. As she prepares to leave town for a position with ESPN News, Maggie discovers that Herbie has a mind of his own--and an alternate route for her future.  Written by gavin gunmasterM@hotmail.com

Maggie Peyton, the first Peyton to graduate from college receives a graduation present from her dad and as she's about to get a 250Z, she instead receives a Volkswagon Bug (Herbie) and Herbie takes her for a ride. Herbie takes her to "Kevins Custom Car Shop" run by her best friend Kevin where they take Herbie for a test drive and end up at a car show where Herbie beats all-time racer Trip Murphy in an impromptu street race. Trip demands a rematch and attempts to discover the secret behind Herbie. But Magwheels's biggest challenge isn't the up and coming Daytona 500, It's proving to her dad that she's good enough to be the next great Peyton. Written by Joseph, webwriter3000@yahoo.com

When Maggie Peyton graduates from college, her father Ray Peyton Sr. gives an used car from a scrap metal yard as a gift, and she takes a 1963 Volkswagen beetle with the number 53. Maggie finds a letter in the glove compartment telling that the bug's name is Herbie and she visits her friend and mechanic Kevin to check Herbie. They go to a car show where they are challenged by the arrogant champion racer Trip Murphy for a race. Maggie and Herbie win Trip, and the revengeful pilot plots a scheme to take Herbie from Maggie. The plucky little #53 VW Bug named Herbie was once one of the most popular vehicles on the racing circuit in his day. However, over time, his popularity waned, until he eventually finds himself in the hands of a junk yard owner named Crazy Dave, who is planning to eventually crush the little beetle into scrap.

Meanwhile, Maggie Peyton has just graduated from college, and is planning to head to New York after the summer to work for ESPN. Though she appears happy for these plans, she secretly harbors a wish to race just like her Father, Grandfather, and Brother. However, while her Father and Grandfather had the 'ambition and drive,' her brother Rey Payton Jr just doesn't have it.

After her graduation, Rey Payton Sr takes his daughter to Crazy Dave's to pick out a used car of her own. Through a mishap perpetrated by Herbie, Maggie ends up as the beetle's new owner. However, once she starts Herbie up, he takes off in a mad dash to a nearby garage, owned by a young man named Kevin, who is a friend of Maggie's.

Noting Herbie's condition, Kevin decides to go with Maggie for a drive to test Herbie out. However, Herbie ends up driving the two of them to a local exotic car show, where famed NASCAR racer Trip Murphy is making a publicity appearance. After Trip makes a rude comment about Herbie's condition, the little beetle creates a major scratch along the side of Trip's personal vehicle. A race soon ensues, and Maggie (wearing a racing outfit with a darkened helmet), manages to beat Trip.

Matt Dillon as Trip
Herbie's beating Trip gives Maggie a thrill from winning a street race (something she promised her Dad she wouldn't do again after a serious accident some time before), but plunges Trip into a deep grudge over being beaten by an old VW beetle. Even though his manager (and brother) tells Trip to just ignore the 'fluke win,' Trip is determined to get back at Herbie and his racer. Trip then advertises a special racing event in the desert with the promise of a $10,000 cash prize to the person who beats him.

The ad catches the eye of Maggie and Kevin, who feel that the money could be a good thing for Maggie when she moves to New York. The two work to repair Herbie, and make him more race-worthy. At the race-off's tryouts, Herbie manages to beat all the other competitors. However, Trip has been watching Herbie and his mysterious driver, and finally confirms that it's Maggie.

After the day is over, Trip allows Maggie the chance to take his NASCAR racer for a ride in the desert. Trip then attempts to examine Herbie's engine to figure how the bug beat him, but Herbie ends up knocking Trip around instead.

When Maggie returns, Trip tricks Maggie into betting Herbie's ownership on the last race, claiming that if Maggie wins, she can have his NASCAR racer.

The next day, Herbie throws the race, when Maggie demands they win so she can have Trip's race car. The loss ends in Maggie's duel identity as Herbie's mysterious driver being exposed to the crowd...which also consists of her Dad. Rey Payton Sr angrily tells his displeasure that Maggie went back on her promise not to race, and Kevin is upset that Maggie would bet Herbie like she did.

Though it seems that everyone is upset with Maggie, her college friend Charisma (who was at the race) commends Maggie that she really seems to have a racer's spirit, and that it seems she would moreso enjoy racing than the upcoming position with ESPN.

After some soul-searching, Maggie visits Trip with the intent to buy back Herbie. However, Trip has sold Herbie to a demolition derby, with the intent that the little beetle will be demolished. Maggie manages to get to the derby, but not before Herbie is damaged quite badly.

The next day, Maggie's brother Rey Jr qualifies for the NEXTEL Cup race, but can't race due to a vision impairment. Rey then suggests that Maggie race in his place. Kevin also voices his affirmative, but Rey Sr refuses to allow this.

That evening, Maggie and Kevin assess Herbie's damage, and find that they do not have the funds to fix him. However, their solution comes in the form of Ray Jr who arrives, to tell Maggie that he is going to let her race in the NEXTEL Cup the next day. However, Maggie insists that she race in Herbie. Ray Jr and his pit crew then work overnight to fix Herbie and make him NASCAR-certified (as much as a VW Bug can be, anyways).

The next day, Trip Murphy is surprised to see Herbie enter the race. Eventually, Herbie manages to outperform most of the race favorites, but encounters fuel problems during the final laps. Maggie is more than willing to lose the race if it means Herbie will be alright, but Herbie manages to push on, intending to win the race...of which Trip is in the lead. It looks like Trip may win the race, but his ego gets the better of him, and he ends up crashing, allowing Herbie and Maggie to win, making her the first woman to win the NEXTEL Cup, and returning Herbie to prominence in the current racing world.

Do Do Do Loving

We are created with love
but we still failed loving
But God had given all in couples
nothing but us to learn
what is love
how is it feel giving love
how is it feel being loved

Do do do loving

Not just with the words
but we should do it again and again
It's not as easy as it written
do it again and again

Mommy tiger love her baby
Snake's mother do so
all of the love on the world
is only one part
one part is enough to learn
what is love
how is it feel giving love
how is it feel being loved

Do do do loving

Where are the other part
still on God's hand
think how huge is His love
always love us
no matter believers or not
but paradise is only for the good

Do do do loving

Evil

Evil....
all around us
nite and day
and we were drowned

Evil....
had never give up
taking us
to the bad

Am I evil...?
yes I am

We were born in this world
as the weak
live our life day by day
with weaknesses

Enjoin the the good then we are good
Together with the bad...?
Then what....???

Am I evil...?
Yes I am

The Tall Ship - explaination of the term

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — It's the last port of call for the majestic tall ships heading up the East Coast. Perhaps, then, it's time for someone to explain.

What the heck is a tall ship, anyway? Some people say it's a square-rigged sailing vessel, while others say it's any large sailing vessel, regardless of rigging. Some say simply that you'll know it when you see the masts on the horizon.

``If it looks like a tall ship, it is a tall ship,'' said retired Coast Guard Rear Adm. Richard Rybacki, president of OpSail Maine 2000.

Through the summer, the fleet of tall ships sailing into harbors for OpSail 2000 have included a variety of brigs, brigantines, schooners, sloops, ketches, yawls, barques and barquentines. Some of the vessels have parted ways, but the remainder — more than 20 tall ships — are participating in the final Parade of Sail in Portland Harbor on Friday.

Some old salts, especially the purists, say that only a few of those vessels are actually ``tall ships.'' Technically, a ``ship'' is a vessel with three masts and square rigging, or sails, said David Blanchard, editor of the Nautical Research Journal in Camden, Maine.

The 356-foot Libertad, an Argentine vessel that's the largest to visit Portland, is definitely a ship (and with a rig of about 190 feet, it's also tall by most people's definition). But the 125-foot-long Spirit of Massachusetts is just a schooner, for example.

By Blanchard's definition, there are at least three tall ships and more smaller vessels in Maine's Parade of Sail. Regardless, ``tall ship'' is not a true nautical term, he said.

``A tall ship is a meaningless term for people who are serious students of ship history,'' Blanchard insisted.

Many people believe it is a generic label thought up by landlubbers to give the vessels marketing cache.

``Tall ship, that's another Madison Avenue term. There's no such thing,'' said Kip Files, captain of the 170-foot, three-masted Victory Chimes, which takes people on excursions off the Maine coast.

Others have more romantic recollections of the term's origin. They can thank British poet laureate John Masefield, according to many nautical historians. Margherita Desy, curator of the USS Constitution Museum in Boston, said Masefield coined the term in his 1902 poem ``Sea Fever,'' about his longing for the ocean:

``I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by ... ''

Some accept the term to mean an important ship with large sails and tall masts. ``It's a term like calling a person a VIP,'' said Peter Stanford, president of the National Maritime Historical Society in Peekskill, N.Y.

``A tall ship is a big sailing ship of traditional design, the kind of ship that opened the whole world to human intercourse and brought the divided branches of mankind together,'' he said. ``So it's a pretty important heritage.''

Illegal Fishing in Indonesia

Feel like I was ain't nowhere.... me, is nothing...
In the middle of the sea, who has a strength to keep our boat floating?
No one but Him.
See the sunset, those dark-orange clouds, the water around us...?
Those are so huge!!!
What are we?
But those are just only His creature.
How about Him?
We are so small, my brother. But, only us.
Being watched by Him.
Think about it.

Our patrol vessel, early in the morning, normal shut, without editing.

One of the illegal ship operated in our water territory, we're gonna catch 'em like a cowboy!

Me, in the name of Allah, were doing the Indonesian people's duty.
Ready to die for Allah in the middle of the waves. May He always keep our vessel save.

One of the crew, too many playing the counter strike game on a notebook, act like one. We really need those weapons, because we are facing many stubborn armed thieves. Not a good one (our weapons), actually. But, quite enough to intimidate.

The sidelong-approached, after our announcement to stop their engine and all of their crew should be seated on the bow.

The sidelong-approached accomplished, continue with the investigation procedures.

Those illegal ships look so ugly with corrosion everywhere, but that just their camouflage. See their radio communication above. And also their navigation equipments.

All of the situation should be reported straight away to the Head Quarter.

Our Commander arrived and watched himself that we got those illegal ships.

The shark meat, with the head and the fin cut. They separated them in some place, and sell that way. Very great demand in China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.

With the help of Allah Ta'ala, we're gonna sail all over the country, to find other pirates, smugglers and thieves.
